Best Friends of Baker, Inc is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization that serves all of Baker County Oregon, located in the northeastern part of the state.  We also network with other animal rescue organizations in and out of the state of Oregon and we are connected with Petfinder.com

We advocate for the needs of domestic pets, particularly dogs and cats. We promote respect, dignity, humane treatment and responsible population control through education and spaying and neutering, medical needs, shelter, foster care and thoughtful placement and adoption of all the animals.

The entire community benefits from working with Best Friends of Baker, Inc.  We have a fund to create an animal shelter and donations are actively requested.  If you are interested in fostering a pet in your home, your help would be appreciated.

Visiting Hours Please understand that we are not yet a shelter, so we do not have regular visiting hours. All of our animals live in volunteer foster homes or with their owners. If you are interested in meeting a particular animal, please see our adoption policy and contact us for additional information.
