Dear Friends of Best Friends,
Due to the lack of volunteers, our board of directors has determined that we are unable, presently, to continue our core mission of animal rescue and placement. We intend to meet again in February and assess our situation. In the meantime, we will maintain our office at Basche Sage and our storage of pet food. We will remain an active—if somewhat less so—nonprofit corporation. We intend to continue to make pet food available for those in need. Donations will continue to be necessary in this interim period. We hope you will not forget us and we will be back on line as soon as possible.
